Amy W
Amy W is very concise and extremely helpful when getting complicated information wrapped around your head. She is super friendly and easy to talk to, which makes sessions comfortable and stress-free. The only hiccup is the wifi choosing to bug out, now and then. But, otherwise, Amy gives a very excellent tutoring experience.

Brilliant Psychology tutors who you’ll really click with.
Our experienced tutors take the time to understand where each student needs to focus and their preferred way of learning. They make a measurable difference – 90% of all students improve by at least one grade.
My child is feeling overwhelmed by the academic pressure in Epsom. Can a tutor help with their confidence, not just the Psychology content?
Absolutely. This is at the heart of what we do. Tutors understand the pressure students in competitive areas like Epsom face. They work not only on mastering the curriculum but also on building study habits, reducing exam anxiety, and celebrating small wins to rebuild the self-belief that can get knocked in a high-stakes environment.
Can a tutor help my child if they're aiming for a competitive university course that requires top A-Level grades?
Yes. Many of our tutors are highly experienced in preparing students for top-tier university applications. They can focus on developing the higher-level analytical and essay-writing skills needed to turn a B into an A or an A*, giving your child the best possible chance of securing their place.
Is online tutoring as effective for a discussion-based subject like Psychology?
It is, and many students find it even better. Our online classroom has interactive whiteboards perfect for mapping out theories and essay plans. The one-to-one focus means your child has a dedicated space to ask questions and debate topics without the pressure of a classroom, ensuring they truly grasp the concepts.
How do you ensure tutors are qualified to teach A-Level Psychology?
We're very selective – only 1 in 8 tutors who apply are accepted. All our tutors are background-checked, and we verify their qualifications and experience. You can view each tutor's full profile, including their university degree, teaching experience, and reviews from other parents, to find the perfect match.
What happens if my child doesn't click with the first tutor we try?
Finding the right personality match is crucial, and we understand that. That's why we have our first lesson guarantee. If you don't feel the first tutor is the right fit, just email our support team at support@tutorful.co.uk and we will cover the cost of your first session with a new tutor.
How flexible is scheduling? My child has a lot of extracurricular commitments.
That's a key benefit of online tutoring. You're not limited to local tutors' 9-5 hours. You can find tutors available in the evenings, on weekends, or whenever fits around your family's busy schedule. You arrange times directly with your tutor to find what works best for you both.
How much does online Psychology tutoring for a student in Epsom cost?
Our tutors set their own hourly rates based on their experience and qualifications, so you can find an option that fits your budget. Prices are clearly displayed on each tutor's profile, with no hidden fees or long-term commitments.
How will I know if my child is making real progress?
Tutors provide regular feedback on your child's progress. You'll be able to see improvements not just in their test scores or homework, but in their whole attitude towards the subject – a growing confidence, a willingness to tackle tough questions, and a genuine interest in what they're learning.
Can a tutor focus specifically on the 'Research Methods' part of the syllabus? My daughter finds it really difficult.
Of course. The beauty of one-to-one tutoring is that every session is tailored to your child's exact needs. If they need to spend three sessions mastering research methods or statistical testing, that's exactly what the tutor will do. They'll work at your child's pace until the topic clicks.
What technology do we need for online lessons?
It's very simple. All you need is a laptop or computer with a webcam, a microphone, and a stable internet connection. Our custom-built online classroom runs directly in your web browser, so there's no complicated software to install.
My son is taking A-Level Sociology and English too. Can we find tutors for those subjects as well?
Yes, absolutely. We offer expert online tutoring across more than 300 subjects, from core GCSE and A-Level topics to university-level support, music tuition, and even coding. You can find experienced tutors for all your child's subjects right here on our platform.
How much does online Psychology tutoring for a student in Epsom cost?
Yes, our tutors are based across the UK and are thoroughly familiar with the specific requirements of all major UK exam boards. You can filter for tutors with experience in your child's specific exam board to ensure the teaching is perfectly aligned with what they need to know for their exams.
