Rosie was a fantastic Maths tutor for my 10-year-old son. Before working with her, he had become quite disheartened with Maths, and I was keen to find someone who could help rebuild his confidence while also stretching him and developing his skills.
Rosie was patient, encouraging and supportive, with a lovely way of challenging him to think beyond his comfort zone without making him feel overwhelmed. The difference in how he felt about Maths was really noticeable. He began to feel much more positive about his abilities, and successfully tackling a challenging secondary-school Maths problem gave him a real boost. It was particularly rewarding to hear him say that he felt “solid” in his Maths again - something he hadn’t said for a while.
I’m very grateful to Rosie for helping him regain his confidence and enjoyment of Maths.
