Ive been playing guitar for about 30 years but knew I had areas that needed improvement. Perry, did some preliminary work by watching some videos of me playing with a band and analysed my playing pointing out areas to improve and suggesting several different exercises to improve timing, left hand control and improvisation. Perry is a very knowledgeable teacher and is very encouraging. I’ve seen and feel a noticeable improvement in my playing in a short time and I’m really enjoying the lessons and practicing.

As and "advanced" player, Kiu knows exactly what skills I needs to practice and I focus on what he's teaching me. Even after only 3 lessons, I can already see the improvement in other areas of my guitar playing, composition and musicianship.
Would recommend jazz lessons to any musician who wants to see general improvement in their musicianship. Kiu teaches this very well, patiently.

Robert is a fantastic guitarist and teacher. With a career in teaching and life long playing of guitar, he knows how to provide expert learning for all abilities and interests in classical music.
We first worked on music reading and playing basics for ensuring I'm not missing basic skills in music notation, chords and other core musical knowledge.
We've worked on contrapuntal music interpretation and composition with both my own original pieces and established musical composers. Such as Mertz, Bach. It is very rewarding to work with Robert because he has a deep passion for the music and has a keen ear for, and fair judgement of your compositions and how they could be better or how they could be different in some musical or intuitive way.
I'm hoping to continue learning with Robert for some time so I can develop these skills further, since every lesson is rewarding and enjoyable and he's very flexible on times in emergencies.

I really like my lessons with Mike. He quickly identifies what I like and at what pace I learn at. We have a structured approach to the lessons and I always come out of each lesson invigorated and buzzing. Support material is superb. Mike has very good patience and explains things very clearly. I have no worries about recommending Mike he really has improved my playing in a very short space of time.
