I hadn't had online lessons before, but not having had much luck finding a tutor locally, I decided to go for the online option. Really glad I did. Albert is.a great tutor, and in the free chat to help the tutor get to know you, I felt I was in good hands. He really listened to what I wanted, took notes and checked what kind of music I liked. One of many features I like about his lessons is that he sends material through beforehand so I have a chance to get to grips with the lesson content before the lesson itself. This means I'm making the most of your face to face time. Another aspect I like is that he pitches the lessons just a bit outside my comfort zone so that I feel the challenge, which is how it should be. I feel motivated and looking forward to the next lesson.
