Find an expert Biology IB tutor

I cannot recommend Smaragda enough! Smaragda’s teaching is incredible, very effective and clear. When I started with Smaragda, I had really low confidence in Biology (IB) and was achieving a grade 1. In just 4 months, she has helped me improve to a grade 5 and more importantly, made me believe that I can achieve those high grades. She genuinely cares about her students and goes beyond the lessons - whenever I have a question during my independent revision she always replies quickly, no matter the time. She has also taught me effective revision methods. Smaragda is now also going to help me with IB Chemistry and I am confident she will help me improve just as fast.

Our daughter is really enjoying the tutoring and benefitting from every session.

Early days but really good start with my son

You cannot go wrong with Areej. In a very short time, and few classes, she has helped our son through his IB exams and making it into his university of choice in UK. Areej has expert knowledge, patient, explains complex subjects thoroughly and makes her student like their sessions. For our son, IB High Level Bio tutoring went from something he dreaded to something that was more enjoyable with every session. Areej was also very accommodating to our forgetful son, who sometimes would completely forget join his sessions. Areej is one of those persons that values teaching more then just getting paid for it. Overall, you cannot ask for a better tutor.

Victor was very helpful and instrumental in helping our son pass his IB exams. His explanations and coaching our son through High Level Biology IB exams were excellent. He is patient and helps unlock complex subjects such as DNA which my son found very challenging. Victor was also very flexible with schedules and very understanding towards all of our son's forgetfulness, accommodated him even when he completely missed his classes. Overall excellent choice for tutoring.

Rehana is a fantastic biology tutor! She is very knowledgeable and experienced in cell biology and could explain complex concepts in a way that was easy to understand. In addition, she is patient and encouraging, with a good sense of humour. What I found particularly impressive was that Rehana personalised her approach to my individual needs and learning style. She identified my strengths and weaknesses and tailored her teaching to help me address gaps in my knowledge. In addition, she provided constructive feedback and guidance helpfully and encouragingly.

Dr. Mohammed assessed my sons current level in Bilolgy. He was satisfied that his current level was satisfactory and wouldn’t need any further help at this time. If my son has any difficulties in the future Dr. Mohammed said he would be available to assist. Very pleased with this independent review.
