Myles M
Dad I wish all teachers were like this, he listens and we talk things through vs talking at me.
My son needed some tuition for a GCSE AQA English resit - Myles engaged really well with my son from the start which is critical.
Exams are overwhelming and Myles really helped my son to break it down in a way that he understood - how the mark scheme works, tricks and tips to quickly respond to questions and importantly where to focus his time.
I wish I had found Myles sooner as I'm 100% confident he would have passed 1st time round.

Shauna H
When we contacted Shauna, our brief was "we have a 14 year old son who is struggling with English Lit & Language, he is not fully engaged at school and struggles with his processing skills". Quite a challenge but Shauna believed in him from the very beginning.
Shauna had a clear plan and though initially met with slight resistance, her persistence, engagement and communication skills brought the best out of him.
In Year 10 he had a predicted grade of 3 and ended up with comfortable 5's in both.
She always kept us informed of progress, set valuable homework tasks and we will be forever grateful.
We would fully recommend Shauna to anyone looking for a patient and talented tutor for their child. She is an excellent teacher and gets the best out of her pupils.

Ifa M
Ifa has been gloriously positive and encouraging with my daughter who lacks confidence in this subject. She teaches with high expectations and makes the hour’s lesson count. She has communicated well with me and advised on how to build on what is done in lessons. I have high hopes that her input will make an impact not just in English, but in her other written GCSE subjects. A first class teacher.

Anita is an excellent tutor with lots of patience. My daughter, currently studying English in France, needed some assistance to be able to sit the GCSE in the UK. Anita structures her lessons well with many examples to enable my daughter to understand more. She gives homework, not too much, and gives feedback both plusses and minuses in a positive and encouraging manner.
Thank you for all your hard work
