Gearoid supported my son with GCSE English during a key transition period in Year 11. My son had moved schools and was adjusting to a different GCSE specification, which had left noticeable gaps in his knowledge. Gearoid helped him bridge those gaps methodically and clarified the expectations of the exam board.
From the very first session, there was a shift in confidence. My son came out saying, “So I’m not stupid.” Over time, that developed into him saying he “felt clever.” For a student who can struggle with processing speed and exam anxiety, this was a significant and meaningful change.
