Tayla is an amazing teacher and a fabulous person. Her lessons are taught in a very comfortable, friendly environment, and her feedback is extremely advanced and professional. She also makes sure she gets to know her students’ strengths and weaknesses, as well as what they want to take away from each lesson.
As someone who didn’t have much experience in creative writing before seeking a tutor, I strongly believe that Tayla has helped me improve my skills in a very short period of time, and I still learn a lot from her in every new lesson.

I started tutoring sessions with Rachel a few months ago, because I felt that my essay writing could do with some attention, particularly getting my ideas down in a clear and concise way. From going from a year of not writing essays during my gap year, to suddenly writing them was a bit of a shock! However, Rachel has really been of great benefit, as I have noticed improvements in my sentence structuring, and I am now finding that I am feeling more confident about writing essays for my degree. She has helped me to identify bad habits and work on the good ones, to make sure I am on the right track! Sometimes it is really hard when you finish writing an essay to take a step back and look critically at it. Rachel has helped me to look critically at my own aspects of writing style and has been very helpful at suggesting areas of improvement. Studying during lockdown has been hard, let alone writing many essays and only having the feedback when it is marked. Rachel has helped me because she has provided me with feedback and suggested areas where I could improve.
