I studied Medicine at Barts and The Royal London School of Medicine and Dentistry and graduated in 2005. I worked as a doctor for 8 years. I specialised in Histopathology (the study of cells and tissues) and worked as a Specialist Trainee in this field for 6 years. I decided to have a career change and re-trained as a teacher, attaining a PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) specialising in Biology, a few years ago. I have since worked in a number of different schools teaching Science at Key Stage 3 and Biology at Key Stage 4 and A-level. I have taught OCR, AQA and Edexcel science courses....
