Since starting tuition with Connell my daughter has gone from failing to a grade A in just a few months. Using his science knowledge alongside his maths knowledge it’s made her understand topics in a way sixth form wasn’t.
He is extremely patient with her given she can be very shy and reserved. He has also been flexible with the slots when we had a family holiday or he had commitments.

Kate is as an excellent math tutor. My daughter has been having lessons with her for a few years now. There was a steady and noticeable improvement in my daughter’s understanding of the subject within a few months. The last couple of years she has been achieving between 90% to 100% on her tests. Kate has managed to not only help her develop her understanding but also her enjoyment of the subject. My daughter really looks forward to each lesson with Kate. Kate follows my daughter’s school curriculum, assesses her knowledge, and fills any gaps in her understanding. If my daughter is finding a topic easy Kate pushes her to challenge herself. We have come a long way in both my daughter’s proficiency and confidence in Maths, and that is all down to Kate. From her reliability, the way she teaches to her ability to build a rapport with her student. Maths is one subject that we haven’t had to worry about because of Kate’s input.
