Elizabeth is an excellent tutor who is extremely knowledgeable in Maths, yet breaks the work down so it is understandable. My son is preparing for his Maths GCSE and was a bit apprehensive about having a tutor initially, but Lizzie is a calm, friendly and professional tutor who put him at ease. He has also commented on the difference that working with Lizzie is having on his grasp of maths in school. I would highly recommend Lizzie as a Tutor.

The best part is that Mr: John never asked me to put a review for him, ever. Although, I was thinking of putting 5 stars for him after our second lesson. He has been very humble in our lessons, and has excellent teaching skills.

We have worked with Ed as our 15 year old's GCSE Maths tutor for the last 15 months, and now as his GCSE English tutor for the past 3 months too. We fully intend to keep working with him until our son has completed his studies, and when the time is right, to have him work with our youngest son too. He is a wonderful fit for our son- he is always energetic, enthusiastic, positive and encouraging, focussing on our son's strengths and sensitively shoring up his areas for improvement. He has transformed our teen's attitude toward taking exams and is bringing out the very best efforts in his studies, even beyond Maths and English. He is a natural, gifted teacher who builds confidence while guiding our son through tedious or challenging tasks. I love that he is extremely knowledgeable in his fields and moves easily between topics, being able to cover and touch on very advanced topics if my son happens to ask him a question that isn't immediately before them. While he points out tips for tests as they go along, he doesn't simply teach to test, but uncovers the art and beauty of Maths and English as they go along. I also love that he is willing to work closely with me to design the most interesting ways to make the learning come alive. He certainly fits in with my philosophy that an education must meet my child where he is, honour and see the whole person, use creativity to introduce new concepts, and lively discussion to make it relevant. I believe that Ed has become the type of mentor and teacher that every parent hopes will inspire their child to discover their own greatness. We cannot recommend him highly enough.

2nd session with our daughter but she’s very happy. Finds Theresa easy to relate to and understand and likes that she explains things clearly and tests her understanding.

My daughter has worked with Mehwish in preparation for her GCSEs. She says she is very clear, organised, friendly and very clever. Lola is able to ask for help on specific things and is doing much better in maths. I would very much recommend Mehwish. We are very lucky to find her.

Graham has tutored my son for over a year now and since having his help, my child has gone from strength to strength. His confidence and overall enjoyment of maths has grown and it is clear from his latest mock exam results for his sats that the tutoring was worth while! Not only are the lessons helpful, but my child actually enjoys working with Graham and his friendly approach to teaching. The man has a patience of a saint! I have since asked Graham to tutor my youngest child, who has learning difficulties. We are seeing positive changes already, Graham adapted his teaching to reach my child's needs and he also looks forward to his little chats with his tutor!

Michael is very dedicated, patient and calm. He has spotted my sons needs very quickly and was able to grab his attention by including games in lessons and provide constant encouragement. I highly recommend him.
