Steve has been a fantastic support for my daughter in the lead-up to her GCSE Maths exams. She had a crisis of confidence in a recent mock, dropping from her usual grade 6–7 to a 4, largely due to nerves and uncertainty around which methods to use. Since working with Steve, that confidence has really started to come back.
He has a very clear and patient way of explaining things, which makes a huge difference. Topics that previously felt intimidating, like surds, have become much more manageable, and she’s starting to approach questions with a clearer sense of direction rather than hesitation.
What stands out most is how he balances clarity with encouragement. The lessons are focused but still enjoyable, which has helped her stay engaged and motivated during a pretty high-pressure period.
We’re really pleased with the progress so far and feel much more confident about her heading into the exams aiming for a grade 7 or above. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Steve to anyone looking for thoughtful, effective maths support.

We are just 3 sessions into tuition and Iman has really helped steer him back on course.
