Edward has helped me a lot with understanding A level Chemistry more. Thanks to his guidance and patience I've had an easier time going through past papers and understanding concepts I didn't understand before. Not only that, but he has been a huge help with supporting me by providing a UCAS reference. Most definitely recommended, thank you.

Alice T
Alice has been fantastic at building our daughter’s confidence in A-level OCR Chemistry. She is patient, encouraging, and always willing to revisit topics until they're fully understood. Our daughter approaches Chemistry with much less anxiety and far more belief in her own ability now and we have seen a dramatic improvement in her examination results. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Alice.

What if my child is finding the jump from GCSE to A-Level Chemistry particularly challenging?
That's a very common concern for parents, and it's precisely where an online Chemistry tutor can provide invaluable support. The leap in conceptual difficulty and analytical demands can be significant. A dedicated tutor can break down complex topics like organic reaction mechanisms or advanced calculations into manageable steps, identify specific areas of confusion, and build your child's foundational knowledge and confidence at their own pace.
How does online tutoring work, and is it effective for Chemistry?
Online tutoring through Tutorful is incredibly effective and convenient. Your child connects with their tutor via our interactive online classroom, which features a virtual whiteboard, document sharing, and video chat. Definitely. One of the biggest benefits of one-to-one tutoring is the ability to focus specifically on exam preparation. A Chemistry tutor can help your child understand mark schemes, practice answering common question types, manage their time effectively in exams, and work through past papers to identify areas for improvement. This targeted practice can significantly boost your child's confidence and performance.
