We can't thank Parissa enough for all the help she gave our son in preparation for his GCSE French. He started his new school in year 9 and was quite behind in French, as languages had not been given much attention at his previous secondary school. He worked with Parissa through most of Year 10 & 11 - going right back to basics and building confidence and skill. He is predicted an A* in his GCSE this summer! Parissa is also friendly and patient, and has been great at making remote teaching engaging and productive.

Josh has been working with my son for a number of lessons now to help build knowledge, skills and confidence ahead of his English GCSE exams. These lessons have been well received by my son and he feels greater confidence going into his exams. Josh has helped improve understanding within English language and literature subjects and has worked on how to structure answers to exam questions. The lessons have been well structured to recap elements of the English GCSE subjects and to close gaps in knowledge or develop understanding on the more difficult areas required for exams. He has enjoyed his lessons with Josh and has always found Josh to be very polite, explains things well and has the patience to explain further on some of the more complex English components. I would strongly recommend Josh to other students to help improve knowledge and skills in English. We are looking forward to improved exam results!

My son has been having Natalia for Physics and Chemistry GCSE revision. Natalia has been wonderful and explains matters clearly, in a way that is easily understood. Natalia has a lovely calming nature which makes my son feel relaxed during his revision. Highly recommend.

Was achieving grade Bs/Cs before my mock exam. Came to Calvin to ask for help with essay writing skills. He was kind and helpful during lessons, helping me to spot more intricate details than I would miss when working alone. After only a few sessions I improved drastically, achieving 73/80 in microeconomics (A*) and 64/80 in macroeconomics (A*) in my recent exams.
