But most importantly my interest for chemistry has grown. Her style of teaching allows you to understand concepts rather than just memorizing them, significantly strengthening your understanding. Stephen has been supporting my son,Otto, (now Yr 6) with his Maths over the last nine months. I cannot rate him highly enough. Every lesson is well prepared and geared exactly to what Otto needs to thrive . He has turned a child totally lacking in self-esteem, into an able Mathematician now working at greater depth. Otto is not a naturally motivated child and will more often than not ask to duck out of commitments, clubs, sports and perceived hard work through fear of rejection / failure. However, he has never once said he does not want to see Stephen, and always finishes his lesson in a positive and confident mood. He has ended this term as learner of the year group, and I believe Stephen's belief in his abilities has been a real driver in this. Thank you so much Stephen!
