Kathryn is a fantastic A-level Sociology tutor. Kathryn was really kind, helpful and knowledgeable. She emboldened me to trust my abilities in sociology and encouraged me that I can write great answers. She explained everything really clearly and with great structure and was able to clarify any confusions I had about the topic we were studying. I particularly liked that in our session she made synoptic links from the sociology course to current affairs, tv shows and real-world relevant topics. Engaging and supportive!

Choosing TJ as a tutor for my brother was a great decision. He has been communicative and supportive every step of the way. He has been accommodating and flexible while we’ve tried to figure out a study pattern that best suits us and we’ve now found a flow. In terms of lessons - each lesson is structured and purposeful. TJ is able to effectively engage and tutor, explaining any weaker areas clearly. He has been patient and understanding with my brother and his ways of learning. As such, they’ve formed a connection, which is much needed, allowing my brother to make the most of his sessions. I am so glad I chose TJ and would definitely recommend him to others looking for a GCSE maths tutor.

Liam is a great tutor, and I can trust him to prepare me to do my best in ALevels. Whether it’s in the syllabus or outside it, his strong understanding of maths allows him to explain topics clearly and correct any misconceptions I have. His lessons are well structured, and he is patient and encouraging, which has really helped to build my confidence.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Emilia on Tutorful! After my son’s test today, I felt I had to share just how much of a difference Emilia has made as his science tutor. He came home feeling really confident and said he did very well. What’s even more impressive is that earlier this week his teachers and classmates were genuinely shocked at how much knowledge he had gained. His teacher even mentioned that if they had seen this level sooner, they would have entered him for the higher paper! After his mock results he now been set to take the higher paper. Lucy helped my daughter with a couple of bespoke/targetted sessions relating to drama A-level essay answers after school feedback failed to materialise. She helpfully set some questions ahead of time which my daughter wrote, then these were reviewed together, including reworking them giving my daughter greater confidence about how to tackle and improve them so it was time well spent.
