Before I had Mrs Villalobos as a tutor I was struggling to get above a 7 in Spanish no matter how much I revised, but thanks to her help I scored the highest that I ever had and got an 8 ( 3 marks of a 9) this year. She is an amazing tutor and I know that I wouldn't have been able to do nearly as well as I have without her, she set me homework every week and as someone who procrastinates a lot it really pushed me to put in extra work for Spanish. I felt like I was learning more in her lessons than in school. She was always kind and made learning Spanish enjoyable. She would even give up her own time and extend our lessons if I didn't understand something. I'm so glad that I had her as a tutor

Monêt is an excellent Spanish tutor and my son and I (mum) were very pleased to work with her. My son, 17, started Spanish tutoring in Year 13 because he was behind in learning and lacked confidence. We needed an encouraging and supportive tutor to cover a lot of ground quickly, so my son could be ready to sit his A-level exam in Summer 25. Monêt rose to the challenge and developed a structured work plan and set homework - attuned to my son’s interests, and steadily he grew in confidence, knowledge and skills and his learning rapidly accelerated. Monêt has excellent communication skills and delivery. Monêt organised regular ‘check-ins’ with me, to ensure I was aware of my son’s learning journey and to see if I had any questions, I appreciated this. The exam prep and ‘team talk’ Monêt gave to my son ahead of his Spanish A-level exams was brilliant and settled his nerves and removed the elements of surprise during the exam. The Tutoring platform is very good too - with recordings of all lessons, so students (and parents) can recap on learning later on. While I don’t know the outcome of my son’s A-level exams, it’s been great seeing his confidence and resilience blossom, plus it’s wonderful to hear him speak Spanish to strangers off the cuff and effortlessly.
