Our son had weekly lessons with Stephanie for a few months to help him prepare for his English SATs. He has special needs so it was as much about filling in some gaps in his learning as about increasing his confidence. He was not keen initially when we decided that he needed to have tutor support for some time but he quickly warmed to Stephanie and her fun way of teaching. Stephanie was great at identifying which areas he needed support in and she managed to offer learning materials that he found interesting and fun most of the time, which really helped with keeping him engaged. We observed that especially his confidence in his writing skills increased over the months, and he ended up doing really well in his SATs. Communication with Stephanie was always easy and friendly, she gave constructive feedback and was willing to take our feedback on board, e.g. incorporating new targets or cutting back on homework during very busy times at school. All in all I cannot recommend Stephanie highly enough!

Ellie has been helping our 10 year old get ready for SATs, covering both English and maths. She’s really helped him to cover essentials but also have the opportunity to deepen his learning beyond what’s possible in the classroom. As a parent I’ve really appreciated the level of detail she provides for each lesson. The detail allows me to have a good sense of what’s been covered. I read it out to my son which enables him to reinforce further what’s been learnt

Hi everyone! Just wanted to drop a few lines here for Sana whom we’ve had a pleasure to have as a tutor for our eldest daughter. Sana has been an amazing help. Given the current Covid crisis in the UK, my husband and I were looking for a reliable and knowledgable tutor to help us get through the mayhem of homeschooling and juggling a busy life with our younger children and Sana was able to support our eldest not only during the national lockdown but, also during the weeks prior to the pandemic. Our daughter enjoyed her lessons with Sana as she helped her build confidence in both English and Math by using material which was related to the National Curriculum, using reading comprehension to boost inference skills and using Math booklets designed for the year group. Not only was Sana professionally prepared for the lessons, she was also very caring and patient with my daughter and they both developed a good working relationship. Sana was able to engage my daughter very quickly with her friendly and big personality which is what children enjoy I think. I would highly recommend this lovely tutor!
