Anne is a brilliant Maths tutor. She has great knowledge of the Maths skills that students have to demonstrate for the different GCSE grades. My daughter is aiming to achieve grade 4 and Anne focused her teaching on achieving that grade, so that my daughter knew exactly what she needed to learn (which wasn’t always clear in her school Maths lessons). Anne formed a really positive relationship with my daughter and tailored her teaching to her needs. Anne was patient, encouraging and positive, always emphasising what my daughter could do. Prior to Anne’s lessons, my daughter believed that she couldn’t do Maths and it was scary, and there would often be tears. But, Anne built her confidence and taught her that with time and repetition, going over the key skills, she wasn’t stupid, and she could give Maths a go. Regardless of what my daughter’s GCSE result is next week, I’m grateful to Anne for breaking down Maths barriers, and for giving my daughter the confidence to try, and to not give up. When my daughter told me that a Maths lesson with Anne was “good” and that “I think she gets me,” it was a revelation, after all the stressful years of Maths lessons at school.

Shaun is a sensational maths tutor, his methods of teaching adjust to you learning needs and has fantastic patience when becoming stuck with certain aspects. I never thought I’d enjoy Maths… until now (thanks to Katie) After a few months of lessons with Katie, my experience has been really positive. She's patient, knowledgeable, and explains things clearly. She's also organised, quick to get in touch, and gives me helpful little tips to remember things.
