My daughter has been enjoying her lessons with Janaki and we plan to continue on. She is very patient and is very good at explaining maths/methods that a child is finding tricky. She also provides keypoints and homework which is excellent. She always checks before lessons to make sure she is covering the required topic. Her lesson plans are very good. We definitely recommend Janaki.

Frances was a kind, patient and knowledgeable tutor and supported my daughter with maths SATs preparation. Frances was great at using maths modelling methods that my daughter could understand and she actively offered different learning approaches when my daughter found some aspects of maths more challenging. My daughter struggles with maths and has a mental block, Scott was able to guide her and she felt confident when working on maths with him. Scott was patient and very understanding. He has excellent knowledge of maths and how to help pupils who struggle. Scott gave her extra worksheets which were appropriate to her level and understanding and he kept her engaged. It was a pleasure to work with him.

He is very well organised by asking what topics she would like to go over before the lesson, so he can prepare resources to maximise the lesson. I would always recommend starting with Martin as early as possible because it helps consolidate learning, because you can go at your pace but equally we saw initial improvements by being on a B/C to getting a strong A within a couple of months
