Supported my son with his Graphic design A2 level. Wish we’d found him sooner, he’s made such a difference in such a short space of time, he’s very engaging, knowledgeable, flexible and brought my son out of his shell by being so patient and helpful, nothing was a bother and my son built a great rapport with him. Highly recommend 👌

Lili G
Lili is fantastic and i enjoy listening over the session she has with my son for A Level Graphic Design. She has her work cut out for her as my son is not the most talkative, but she doesn't let this deter her and she continues to try and build the rapport and be relatable to the topic of choice. She's very patient, funny and really probes and questions him further in order to make him think about the direction he wants to go and shares some really good examples of how he can look to explore this further. I can already see a change in him where he is starting to approach things differently and with Lili's help i'm confident over time this will become easier. Another great session.

Candice W
I have only had a couple of classes with Candice so far but I already know chosing her as my tutor was the right decision. I'm getting the sense that she is very good at adjusting to the needs of the individual student; wether it's concerning how to support me in areas I struggle with or knowing what my interests are and providing tasks I would find inspiring. Candice is very encouraging and provides structured classes and assignments so you never feel confused about what is expected of you. She always replies to messages and emails outside of class if you get stuck and need some extra help. I would warmly recommend her to everyone looking for a tutor in the subjects she teaches. Especially if confidence is an issue for you or you would like to improve your performance. Graphic Design was my weakest subject in my first year of A-Levels but now, with her help, I feel like I might actually be able to achieve the grade I want. On top of that the process feels fun and engaging again rather than frustrating and discouraging.

Brilliant Graphic Design tutors who you’ll really click with.
Our experienced tutors take the time to understand where each student needs to focus and their preferred way of learning. They make a measurable difference – 90% of all students improve by at least one grade.
My child is applying to UAL Camberwell or Goldsmiths. Can a tutor help with their specific portfolio requirements?
Absolutely. Many of our Graphic Design tutors are experienced in helping students prepare for top university applications. They can help your child understand what admissions tutors are looking for and work with them to curate a portfolio that showcases their skills and unique creative vision, tailored to the specific requirements of institutions like UAL and Goldsmiths.
We're worried our child's school project won't be distinctive enough. How can a tutor help?
This is a common concern, and it's where a tutor can be incredibly valuable. They can act as a creative mentor, pushing your child's ideas beyond the standard curriculum. They can introduce new techniques, suggest inspiring artists to research, and provide the one-to-one feedback needed to elevate a good project into a truly exceptional one that stands out.
How do I choose the right Graphic Design tutor for my child?
It's all about finding the right fit. You can read detailed profiles, see their qualifications and experience, and check reviews from other parents. We recommend messaging a few tutors to discuss your child's specific goals—whether it's mastering Adobe Photoshop or preparing for an interview—to see who feels like the best match before booking.
How much does a Graphic Design tutor in South East London cost?
Prices vary depending on the tutor's experience and qualifications. You can see each tutor's hourly rate clearly on their profile. There are no hidden fees or contracts, so you can book as many or as few lessons as your child needs.
How does online tutoring work for a practical subject like art and design?
Our online classroom is designed for creative subjects. It includes an interactive whiteboard, screen sharing, and file sharing features, making it easy for your child to share their work and get real-time feedback. Tutors can demonstrate techniques live, just as they would in person, ensuring a hands-on and effective learning experience.
What if we don't click with the first tutor?
We want to make sure you find the perfect match, which is why we have our First Lesson Guarantee. If you don't get on with your tutor for any reason, email our support team at support@tutorful.co.uk and we will cover your first session with a new tutor.
How are your tutors vetted?
Your child's safety is our top priority. We personally interview every tutor and they must provide a valid DBS check. We are very selective, accepting only 1 in 8 tutors who apply, so you can feel confident that your child is learning from a trusted and highly-qualified expert.
Can a tutor help my child build confidence as well as skills?
Yes, this is one of the biggest benefits of one-to-one tuition. A great tutor provides a safe, encouraging space for your child to ask questions and experiment creatively without fear of failure. This personalised support is fantastic for building their self-belief, which is just as important as their technical skills.
My child is studying for a BTEC, not an A-Level. Can you still help?
Of course. Our tutors have experience supporting students across a wide range of qualifications, including BTECs, HNDs, and Foundation Diplomas. You can find a tutor who understands the specific requirements of your child's course.
Is this just for school subjects, or can my child learn other skills?
We offer tutoring in over 300 subjects! So alongside academic support, your child could learn to code in Python, play the guitar, or even learn a new language. It's a great way to support their hobbies and personal development too.
How long are the tutoring sessions?
Sessions are typically one hour long, but you can arrange longer sessions if you wish. This is something you can agree on directly with your chosen tutor to fit your child's needs and your family's schedule.
How are your tutors vetted?
You can get started very quickly. Once you've found a tutor you like, you can message them to arrange your first lesson. Many tutors can offer a session within a few days, giving your child the support they need, right when they need it.
