I booked four hours with Astrid for my 14 year old boy who is struggling with his German. He really enjoyed his lessons with Astrid who seems to have managed to incite some enthusiasm in him for learning German. I was really pleased and will definitely be booking more lessons!

I am a beginner looking to learn German (something I have meant to do for years and finally got around to in lockdown!!) and decided to book a lesson with Fiona. She was really helpful during the booking process, offering to provide a taster lesson where I could get an idea of what to expect from lessons with her. I had the lesson in person at her house (she offered to do the lesson in the garden due to covid) as I find it easier to learn that way, but I appreciated the option to do lessons online as well. It was nice to have the choice depending on learning style. During the actual lesson Fiona was friendly and took time to find out what I was hoping to achieve from the lessons. I felt like she was interested in finding out how she could help me best which was great. I also didn't feel stupid as a beginner which was one of my main fears!! She was really encouraging even though we started with the basics. Overall really pleased! Thanks Fiona for being so encouraging, I'm looking forward to booking another lesson!

I was looking for a German tutor as I had the challenge to learnt German to a working profiency in a short amount of time having previously studied 0. I feel very fortunate to have found Catherine on Tutorful as her German is fantastic and going in i was very nervous & lacked confidence if i could ever learn the German language. Catherine provides different teaching methods and provides you a list of material to help you along the way its great. She has not only built my skills up over the lessons but my confidence and has become a great friend & coach and i look forward to every lesson. She pushes you so you to go from strength to strength and assess what works for you as an indivudal. I couldn't be happier learning german with Catherine, though i live close i would even drive a distance for this kind of tutoring. After looking for courses I am so happy to have a 1:1 as for me you learn so much more then a general class. Thanks Catherine!

My 14 yr old son has had a few lessons with Josh. He looks forward to the sessions and is happy with how everything is progressing. Josh comes prepared for the lessons but is happy to be flexible about the content. I would recommend Josh!
