My son (14 years) is having German lessons with Cathrin because this is a language he can't learn in school, and he's keen to be able to talk to his Austrian cousins. Cathrin is a wonderful tutor - she structures the lessons carefully to meet his particular needs and always makes them interesting. As a result, he has learned and remembered a lot within a short space of time. My son is really enjoying Cathrin's lessons, and looks forward to attending every week.

Martina is a great tutor, my son really enjoys her lessons and has said it is 100% better having a one to one lessson than in a big class. His German has definitely improved!

I am a beginner looking to learn German (something I have meant to do for years and finally got around to in lockdown!!) and decided to book a lesson with Fiona. She was really helpful during the booking process, offering to provide a taster lesson where I could get an idea of what to expect from lessons with her. I had the lesson in person at her house (she offered to do the lesson in the garden due to covid) as I find it easier to learn that way, but I appreciated the option to do lessons online as well. It was nice to have the choice depending on learning style. During the actual lesson Fiona was friendly and took time to find out what I was hoping to achieve from the lessons. I felt like she was interested in finding out how she could help me best which was great. I also didn't feel stupid as a beginner which was one of my main fears!! She was really encouraging even though we started with the basics. Overall really pleased! Thanks Fiona for being so encouraging, I'm looking forward to booking another lesson!

Amanda has built a good rapport with my girls in the time she has been teaching them German. They like her lessons and are coming on quickly, in fact we are actually thinking of starting Spanish with Amanda now too as we have been impressed with her teaching.

Ellie is very much the sort of tutor I was looking for. She is a good communicator, and listens well. And she has a pleasant, straightforward manner. As someone who struggles to speak German, I tend to be nervous, embarrassed or tense, but with Ellie I am at ease, and thus able to do my best. The activities that Ellie provides are helpful and of just the right standard. A bonus is Ellie's expertise in French: in April we shall switch to French, prior to my May holiday in Corsica.

Lovely young lady to speak to and very good with my daughter, daughter likes her a lot and finds her very helpful and easy with her and teaching her German. Would recommend.
