Laura has certainly helped me with my German throughout my GCSE years and I highly recommend her to anyone who needs help with MFL. Before I took Laura on as a tutor I was getting fours and fives in my MFL exams but ever since taking Laura on as a tutor, I have achieved a 6 overall along with a nine in my reading. Besides being really helpful, she has helped me become more confident speaking and writing in German and writing in the correct word order. Laura is devoted to helping her students achieve high in exams, she is amazing at planning ahead along with making arrangements for any lessons that have been missed. And lastly, she is extremely friendly and caring towards her students. When you get something wrong, she won't be upset but she will help you avoid making the same mistake again.

I couldn't recommend working with Charlotte enough, the hour always flies by and i'm always very impressed with the amount of German i'm retaining as the weeks go on. Each lesson is well thought out and more importantly fun! 5/5

Liliane is an amazing tutor who goes above and beyond for her students. We have been working together for about 9 months and I cannot recommend her enough. This is my second time reviewing her as I unfortunately lost access to my first tutorful account and needed to make a new one. This however means I am able to write her another review, after having worked together for longer! Liliane is so kind and patient and she puts SO much thought and effort into her lessons, it is very evident that she enjoys teaching and I always look forward to our lessons! I always walk away from them in a great mood! Her lesson plans are very in depth and detailed, we never run out of things to work on and she has great, creative ways of teaching, with visual, auditory and written prompts. Some examples of these are the activities she prepares where I tell stories based on images, describe them, associate words with images, as well as loads of other grammar, verb and conversational exercises. I love my lessons with Liliane and I have made so much progress with her. I have been travelling in Germany for the past three months and have been able to get by with my German skills, thanks to her. Liliane is an excellent tutor and her dedication and efforts are extremely apparent, I cannot recommend her enough.

Great teacher and adapts her style to suit your way of learning

Clive is a wonderful tutor! He is very engaging, experienced and thorough – with a great sense of humour and a true passion for the languages he teaches! All lessons are very well prepared, and he has plenty of resources to complement his teaching. He really tailors the teaching to our daughter’s needs which is very helpful as she is bilingual but with gaps in grammar (German). Identifying those and equally training what examiners will look for in the GSCE and A-Level exams is so valuable!

Adrian is great, he keeps me motivated and on track and pushes me to learn and develop my language skills. I’m progressing much faster with him than I have previously and feel much more confident with my German. He also ensures we chat a lot in German, helping me get more comfortable with speaking it which is great!! Highly recommend him :)!
