Last Year I did not do well in English Language in which I had a Grade 3. With my November resits fast approaching I felt very privileged to have Ihsanur as my tutor. He was able to present lessons in a concise way which helped me understand what went well and what I needed to improve on. After the November resits I managed to obtain a Grade 4 in English Language AQA. I would really recommend him for those taking the GCSE 2026 because he is committed and dedicated in order to achieve academic potential with pupils. Thanks again Ihsanur for the hard work you do.

I can’t recommend Smita enough! After struggling and retaking my English Language exam twice before she’s the only tutor who has truly managed to teach me in a way that makes everything click. She explains things clearly and in a way that actually makes sense. Smita never made me feel judged for needing extra help. She is an genuinly an incredible tutor who genuinely cares about her students’ progress. I honestly wish I’d found her sooner! I can’t thank her enough for helping me. :)

Flora has been helping Isla prepare for her English Literature and English Language GCSE exams. From the first lesson, Flora “clicked” with Isla and quickly understood her needs. She made Isla feel comfortable and pinpointed areas for development and was so supportive. Isla felt at ease and could ask questions knowing that the necessary time would be taken to help her understand. Flora was incredibly accommodating, adjusting lesson times and dates as needed. She was also very responsive to messages and promptly returned marked work, going above and beyond to support us. Isla’s work was annotated and marked, providing valuable feedback and areas for future focus, which has been invaluable. Flora’s passion for the subject shone through, thank you so much Flora!

In just a few weeks, my daughter’s confidence in both English and maths has grown so much thanks to Ria. She's feeling much more prepared for her upcoming GCSEs. Ria is super easy to communicate with, really flexible, and her lessons are always well-organised and focused. She’s been such a great support — we’d definitely recommend her!

Jen has built a good relationship with my son and quickly identified what he needed to focus on to enable him to pass his English resit. He is engaged with lessons, he enjoys them and completes work set. He absolutely has benefitted from the 1 on 1 time these lessons give him.

Our son has had four lessons in English Language and English Literature with Jessica so far, as he’s sitting his GCSEs this year. It’s clear Jessica has a strong background and is truly in the right profession—she knows exactly what’s needed and structures each lesson to cover any gaps. She explains everything clearly, focuses on exam technique, and is patient and supportive. Our son enjoys the lessons and already feels more confident. I think Anita teaches really well. She taught English Language for GCSE and I think tutor lessons with her were really useful and informative. She is good at indicating where you may need to improve.
