Particularly valuable is his knowledge of the exam requirements and mark schemes. He really understands what students need to include in their answers to access the top marks and is able to explain how to approach questions in the way the examiners are looking for. I went from grade 2 in english language in my mocks to a grade 7 in 7 months of tutoring. Each lesson had been incredibly useful. By the time of my exams, Lucy's predictions for both the english language and literature papers on what the questions would be on, and what poem would appear on the paper, had also been incredibly useful. As her predictions had been almost entirely correct and the preparation for the paper using them had meant i was fully prepared for the questions that came up, and prepared for any other questions on potential themes, topics or poems that could come up.
