My son started tutoring with Manuel about 4-5 mths lead up to his Business Studies exam. His grounding was weak and he found the questions difficult to structure. Over the last academic year, Caroline has provided a much needed boost to our child's revision, exam technique and confidence going into his A-levels. She is very friendly, approachable and accommodating. and very prompt with feedback and responses; communication was excellent. Our child found the lessons really useful and found that Caroline's explanations really good. She was very encouraging and positive. She was happy to let our child lead in what topics he wanted to cover or weak areas, as well as focussing on covering all topics etc. She also sent helpful documents/resources when necessary. Frances was a kind, patient and knowledgeable tutor and supported my daughter with maths SATs preparation. Frances was great at using maths modelling methods that my daughter could understand and she actively offered different learning approaches when my daughter found some aspects of maths more challenging.
My daughter really enjoyed the sessions with Frances and she said to me after each session that it was helpful. I would recommend Frances to anyone looking for a great tutor at primary level, especially if your child is lacking in confidence in a particular academic area.
