My daughter is a Year 8 native English speaker who spent four years in Spanish schools. She came to Megan needing support with literary analysis, creative writing, and grammar, but also needing someone who could reignite her enthusiasm for the subject. Megan delivered on every front.
Her teaching is genuinely personalised. Noticing my daughter's love of maths, she began using graphs to visualise story arcs. Megan was mapping how tension builds to a climax and resolves. It's the kind of creative, student-centred approach that turns a concept from abstract to instinctive. My daughter loved it so much that she talked about it for a long time during dinner that day.
Megan also has a rare gift for working with perfectionist children who don't take criticism easily. She builds confidence first, then raises the bar, so my daughter absorbs feedback that she would normally bristle at, and comes away from every session feeling capable rather than corrected. As a parent, I find myself taking notes.
The results have been tangible and swift. Within a month, her school teacher reached out unprompted to comment on the improvement, and this was already a strong student. One 30-minute session with Megan achieves more than two hours with her previous tutor did.
Megan's classes are an exceptional value. As soon as she has a slot, I would like to move to full-hour sessions and hope to continue next year. For our daughter's English support, Megan is simply outstanding.

I highly recommend Sarah. My daughter lacked confidence in her abilities having been given conflicting/limited feedback from her drama teacher at school and she didn't know how to progress or improve ahead of her Drama GCSE written exam.
