He explains stats and applied econ in a way that actually makes sense, especially stuff like regression and data interpretation which I was struggling with before. He doesn’t overcomplicate things and breaks it down so you actually understand what’s going on.
He’s there to help his student on short notice, which was a lifesaver with deadlines coming up. Always reliable and easy to work with. Definitely recommend if you need someone who can actually teach rather than just go through the motions.

Choosing TJ as a tutor for my brother was a great decision. He has been communicative and supportive every step of the way. He has been accommodating and flexible while we’ve tried to figure out a study pattern that best suits us and we’ve now found a flow.
In terms of lessons - each lesson is structured and purposeful. TJ is able to effectively engage and tutor, explaining any weaker areas clearly. He has been patient and understanding with my brother and his ways of learning. As such, they’ve formed a connection, which is much needed, allowing my brother to make the most of his sessions.
I am so glad I chose TJ and would definitely recommend him to others looking for a GCSE maths tutor.
