Find An Expert Sociology Tutor For Learners In Kentish Town

Rabia is an amazing tutor who has really helped me improve my skills in Sociology and become much more confident in the subject. She explains difficult concepts in such a simple and clear way and always makes sure I understand it before moving on. She has also helped me improve the way I structure and develop my exam answers, which has made a huge difference to my writing. Her lessons are always engaging and she is so patient and approachable, making it really easy to ask questions. I would definitely recommend her to anyone studying Sociology!

Peter was an exceptional tutor and made a truly remarkable difference to my daughter Lucy’s A-level journey. Lucy started tutoring with Peter in the second year of sixth form. Although she had achieved excellent GCSE results, she was working at B grades in A-level Sociology and Religious Studies and wanted to improve her grades further. From the very beginning, Peter was incredibly committed and thorough. He prepared carefully for every session, set relevant homework and took the time to mark and provide detailed feedback on Lucy’s essays. He didn’t just teach the content — he took the time to understand Lucy’s individual strengths, identify the areas where she needed to improve, and tailor his teaching to her needs. Peter was particularly excellent at teaching exam technique. He helped Lucy understand exactly what examiners were looking for, how to structure her answers, how to develop her arguments and, importantly, how to recognise her own weaknesses and improve them. Her progress was gradual but consistent, and Peter’s patience and attention to detail helped Lucy build both her knowledge and confidence. As a parent, there were times when I was worried and concerned about whether Lucy would achieve the grades she needed. Peter was always reassuring and encouraging, and he genuinely believed in Lucy’s ability. His patience, perseverance and positive approach gave her the confidence to keep working hard and believe in herself. The results were fantastic. Lucy achieved A grades in both Sociology and Religious Studies, which enabled her to secure a place at a top university to study Law. I cannot thank Peter enough for everything he did for Lucy. His dedication, preparation, expertise and genuine commitment to his students are outstanding. He went above and beyond to help Lucy achieve her potential, and we are incredibly grateful for all his hard work and support. I would wholeheartedly recommend Peter to any student or parent looking for an exceptional tutor who truly cares about his students and is committed to helping them succeed.

very good tutor, easy communication and able to work well with and understand the worth. goes through whatever you need help with and is overall an amazing tutor

Lisa is an amazing tutor, she brought me from a D to a B in my sociology alevel with her supportive teaching. Every lesson was tailored to what needed to be worked on and how specifically to answer exam questions. Moreover these exam questions were unseen and predictions which hadn't come up in the exams before hand (one of which came up in the exam) meaning i was prepared for any and all questions. She is the only reason i remotely enjoyed this subject and did well!

Highly recommend Clare. She instilled confidence at a time that my daughter was truly struggling. She managed to push her grade by two grades in just a a few months! If your child needs a tutor that really studies your child’s needs, identifying gaps and using a language that your child will find helpful Clare is your woman. Thank you so very much we are indebted to you Clare

Awo is incredibly good. She has really helped my son Rudolph who really struggled with sociology. She made him understand it better after he failed his mock exams but I never lost hope in him. Having read Awo's reviews I waited for her after the Easter holidays after messaging her to please get back to me. When she did I knew she was the right person who could help my son from April ending till the A level exams started. We put our last efforts through by booking extra lessons and doing lots of revisions and assignments which really helped him. He eventually passed his sociology and looking forward to read Law in the university.

I can highly recommend Ian who worked with my son over several weeks to support his sociology a level knowledge and exam skills. He went from quite a poor performance in the trial exam to achieving an A in the real thing which I am sure is down to the extra input from Ian.

My son lacked confidence in Sociology and was tracking around a D/E following his A level mocks in January. Anna worked with him on weekly lessons through to his exams in June and quickly made an impact in building his confidence, improving his subject matter knowledge and his exam technique. He enjoyed and looked forward to the lessons. He managed to achieve at the top end of grade B which was significantly above his predicted grade. Anna is a first class tutor and I’d have no hesitation in recommending her.
