Jason is a great tutor who helped me grasp difficult concepts that I couldn't initially get my head around. My child was really struggling with Nat 5 Chemistry and parts of the Physics syllabus; the school was unsuccessful on 3 occasions at employing a chemistry teacher so you can imagine the horror we presented to Phil! He took it in his stride and within weeks had not only found the level we were working at and begun to establish rapport, and it was joyous to see the boost in confidence alone. Phil has a no nonsense approach and is incredibly diligent – I don’t think he’s doing this as a side hustle, he does actually want to get your kid to learn. Feedback is very good too. Shahreen is a fantastic tutor! She always comes to lessons fully prepared and with curated PowerPoints that are easy to understand. While going through subject content she will regularly check that you have understood the material with practice questions, and is very good at clarifying the content if you don’t understand something. She is great at providing feedback and knows the mark schemes very well, so that she can help you to answer exam questions effectively. While studying a-level physics, I personally improved significantly while being taught by Shahreen, and feel that I have gained a much better understanding of the subject since choosing her as my tutor.
