Phil was enormously helpful in preparing my daughter for her GCSE maths exams. He explained the concepts, skills and solutions to questions very clearly. My daughter finally understood aspects of maths she had been struggling with for a long time. There was lots of exam practice so she could learn to interpret the questions correctly. After being let down by another tutor 2 months before GCSE exams were due to begin as a parent I was in a panic. Sian has been a great tutor for me for the past 7 months. She has been very patient and is great at explaining things to me in maths that I do not understand, and has planned lessons for me with options so I can pick which topics I think that I would struggle with.
If I decide to take maths at A-Level, I will definitely be reaching out to her again.
I also was not very confident in my mocks before I had Sian as a tutor, but for my GCSE's I have been more confident in all three papers and my teacher at school also thought my maths had improved.
