Now directly from the student… When I was at school I had a really big problem. I was not very good at maths. Me and my mum would sit every day when she could to help. But she had lots of work and she said “let’s get a tutor”. I was not very keen at first. Then, my mum found a tutor. Katie! I was a bit nervous but when I got into the lesson I was happy. I told Katie my problem and for lots of weeks, on Tuesdays, we worked. She would give me homework that I actually understood. In lessons she would help me whenever I was stuck. She would be kind and say things like “do you need any help?” and she explained it to me until I understood it. She is the first but best tutor I have ever had!!! Thank you!

I had Jake as my tutor after year 13 results day to retake maths A level, I initially got a D and now I have a B, one mark away from an A! Jake was so organised, he had a clear timeline with how long it would take to teach me the content (around 4 months for pure and 2 for applied) all while rewiring misconceptions I had with certain topics that I hadn’t learnt properly in sixth form. Outstanding tutor, uses past papers to fill knowledge gaps and teaches you how to use the mark schemes to your advantage. As an international student who joined the UKs educational system in Y12 I had difficulties with understanding math mostly due to language differences. When I started working with Liam he managed to help me both with understanding of math and language around it. I have particularly enjoyed working with him because he never gave up, when teachers in my school told me that I can not get more then a C in A level mathematics, Liam encouraged me helped me to get a grade A. This is why I would recommend him to everyone who wants to achieve higher.
