My daughter had weekly maths lessons with Mario in preparation for her 11+ exams. He challenged her with numerous different papers and questions, honed in on the areas that needed extra work, and worked with her to improve her exam techniques and, crucially, timing skills. She sat the exams feeling confident, and passed both the Sutton SET and Second Stage Exam and was offered her first choice grammar school. I’d be happy to recommend Mario as a tutor.

Jon has been an excellent geography tutor for our daughter. From the start, he took the time to understand her prior knowledge and level of understanding, which meant he could quickly gauge what she needed to focus on most. He is kind, patient and very supportive, which has helped build her confidence. Jon clearly has a strong knowledge of the subject as well as the exam structure, and he explains topics in a very clear and accessible way. His lessons are well organised and he sets relevant homework that builds on what has been covered, helping to reinforce learning between sessions. He has also been very accommodating when we needed to change lesson times temporarily. He is easy to contact and always responds very quickly, which makes arranging lessons straightforward. Overall, we have been extremely pleased with the support Jon has provided and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, reliable and encouraging geography tutor.

Aishat is a great tutor and we’ve been really pleased with the support she’s given my son. He has weekly GCSE Science (AQA) tutoring with her, and she has taken the time to really understand his learning habits. He’s completely comfortable with her, which has made a big difference to his confidence. Aishat is always punctual, responds promptly to messages, and keeps me well informed about my son’s progress. What’s been especially reassuring is that topics she’s covered with him have already come up in his mock exams, and he was able to answer those questions confidently. nisha is a wonderful tutor who i would recommend to anyone wanting to learn urdu. she is organised and prepares resources in advance, which cover a range of learning objectives (grammar, reading, writing) and she makes lessons engaging. i find her lessons enjoyable. nisha is also patient and great at explaining any questions that i may have. i feel supported by her teaching and have learnt a lot with nisha over a relatively short period of time

My 14-year-old daughter had been getting very upset about Maths lessons, despite having been moved up to the highest set. She felt out of her depth and that she couldn't follow the teacher's way of explaining things. She has suspected autism and often can't think her way around something -she needs it presenting in a totally different way for it to make sense. My Maths isn't strong enough for my explanations to do the trick either - so we were all getting stressed. Now I'm not exactly sure what Dee did as I left them to get on with it, but I do know that things have been so much calmer in our house during the few months of tuition with Dee. The crying over Maths stopped and parents' evening went really well with good feedback from the teacher. My daughter feels she can manage without a tutor now but I won't hesitate to message Dee again if any future problems arise!

I CANT BELIVE HOW MUCH BETTER SHE IS. I REALLY TRUST HER AND NY SON SAYS HER LESSONS ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE!!! AND WE ARE SEEING RESULTS IN HIS MOCKS!!! He is a really great tutor, makes sure you understand completely with topics and explains them clearly as well. He is also quite organised and has helped improve weaker points in my knowledge a lot!!
