Supported my son with his Graphic design A2 level. Wish we’d found him sooner, he’s made such a difference in such a short space of time, he’s very engaging, knowledgeable, flexible and brought my son out of his shell by being so patient and helpful, nothing was a bother and my son built a great rapport with him. Highly recommend 👌

Lili G
Lili is fantastic and i enjoy listening over the session she has with my son for A Level Graphic Design. She has her work cut out for her as my son is not the most talkative, but she doesn't let this deter her and she continues to try and build the rapport and be relatable to the topic of choice. She's very patient, funny and really probes and questions him further in order to make him think about the direction he wants to go and shares some really good examples of how he can look to explore this further. I can already see a change in him where he is starting to approach things differently and with Lili's help i'm confident over time this will become easier. Another great session.

Candice W
I have only had a couple of classes with Candice so far but I already know chosing her as my tutor was the right decision. I'm getting the sense that she is very good at adjusting to the needs of the individual student; wether it's concerning how to support me in areas I struggle with or knowing what my interests are and providing tasks I would find inspiring. Candice is very encouraging and provides structured classes and assignments so you never feel confused about what is expected of you. She always replies to messages and emails outside of class if you get stuck and need some extra help. I would warmly recommend her to everyone looking for a tutor in the subjects she teaches. Especially if confidence is an issue for you or you would like to improve your performance. Graphic Design was my weakest subject in my first year of A-Levels but now, with her help, I feel like I might actually be able to achieve the grade I want. On top of that the process feels fun and engaging again rather than frustrating and discouraging.

Brilliant Graphic Design tutors who you’ll really click with.
Our experienced tutors take the time to understand where each student needs to focus and their preferred way of learning. They make a measurable difference – 90% of all students improve by at least one grade.
My child is hoping to apply to Oxford Brookes for Graphic Design. Can a tutor help with their portfolio?
Absolutely. Many of our tutors are experienced in helping students prepare for university applications. They can provide expert guidance on building a strong, unique portfolio that stands out, and even help your child prepare for interviews, giving them the best possible chance of securing a place.
My child attends a very academic school in Oxford. Will a tutor understand how to support their creative subject choice?
Yes, we understand this concern. Our tutors are skilled at mentoring students from all academic backgrounds. They can help your child balance their schoolwork with their creative projects, building their confidence and showing them how their creative skills are a valuable asset, no matter how academic their school is.
What happens if my child doesn't click with their first tutor?
We know that finding the right personality match is key. That's why we have our First Lesson Guarantee. If you don't get on with your tutor for any reason, just email our support team at support@tutorful.co.uk and we will cover your first session with a new tutor.
How do I choose the right Graphic Design tutor for my child?
You can read detailed profiles for each tutor, which include their experience, qualifications, and reviews from other parents just like you. Many tutors also offer a short introductory chat, which is a great way for you and your child to get a feel for their teaching style before booking a lesson.
Do you only offer academic subjects, or can my child learn other skills like music production or coding?
We offer tutoring in over 300 subjects! While we cover all core academic subjects from the 11+ to degree level, we also have brilliant tutors who can teach hobbies and professional skills, from learning the guitar and music production to coding in Python.
How much does a Graphic Design tutor in Oxford cost?
Prices vary depending on the tutor's experience and qualifications. You can see each tutor's hourly rate clearly on their profile, so you can find someone who fits your budget. There are no hidden fees or contracts.
How can I be sure the tutors are safe and qualified?
Your child's safety is our top priority. Every tutor is background-checked and we interview every single one. We are very selective, accepting only 1 in 8 tutors who apply, so you can be confident your child is learning from the best.
How do the online lessons actually work?
Our online lessons take place in a purpose-built online classroom. It features video chat, an interactive whiteboard, and screen sharing, which is perfect for creative subjects like Graphic Design. Your child can share their work directly with their tutor for real-time feedback and collaboration.
Can tutoring help my child build confidence, not just skills?
Definitely. This is one of the biggest benefits of one-to-one tutoring. As your child sees their skills improve and receives positive, constructive feedback from their tutor, their self-belief and confidence grow, which often has a positive impact on their other subjects too.
How long will my child need tutoring for?
This really depends on your child's individual goals. Some students have a few lessons to prepare for an application, while others have regular weekly sessions to build their skills over time. It's completely flexible and something you can discuss with your tutor.
How do I track my child's progress?
After each lesson, you'll get feedback from the tutor on what was covered and how your child is getting on. You can also message your tutor at any time to discuss progress and ask questions. It’s a partnership between you, your child, and the tutor.
How can I be sure the tutors are safe and qualified?
All your child needs is a computer or tablet with a webcam, a microphone, and a stable internet connection. For Graphic Design, they will likely need access to relevant software like the Adobe Creative Suite, which is something you can discuss with your chosen tutor.
