Jon has been an excellent geography tutor for our daughter. From the start, he took the time to understand her prior knowledge and level of understanding, which meant he could quickly gauge what she needed to focus on most. He is kind, patient and very supportive, which has helped build her confidence. Jon clearly has a strong knowledge of the subject as well as the exam structure, and he explains topics in a very clear and accessible way. His lessons are well organised and he sets relevant homework that builds on what has been covered, helping to reinforce learning between sessions. He has also been very accommodating when we needed to change lesson times temporarily. He is easy to contact and always responds very quickly, which makes arranging lessons straightforward. Overall, we have been extremely pleased with the support Jon has provided and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, reliable and encouraging geography tutor.

After two lessons I can say Richard has been an excellent tutor for my son so far. We had an initial free introductory chat where he introduced himself and set out his approach, and his communication for both lessons has been exceptional. Richard shares his pre-lesson planning aims and post lesson feedback. Richard uses the Tutorful platform to conduct his lessons which offers safeguarding benefits and means he can easily video record the lesson and share it with the student for review. He provides is a high level of service which justifies his price.
