French Latin
Hello, I’m Roger Wills.I teach French, German, Spanish, Italian, Latin and Classical Civilisation to both adults and school-age learners.I describe myself as a High Impact Educational Coach because my aim is not simply to teach a subject. My aim is to help people make the greatest possible progress by focusing on the things that matter most.Over more than thirty years in education, I have learned that most learners are capable of more than they often believe. When progress stalls, it is rarely because somebody lacks ability. More often, something is getting in the way. Before I decide what to t...

Enthusiastic (and patient) tutor of French Tutor for all levels
Hi I have always loved French and have a natural flair and feel for it, so, naturally, I went on to study it atUniversity. My particular course gave me the opportunity to work in both France and Switzerland so I got to experience how people really work and live in both these places.I also travelled widely during my placements to experience the culture and understand the identity of the locals. My family and I have now returned to the UKafter more than 12 years of living and working in Paris. In fact, both my children were born in Paris. Claire A
Daughter has been working with Claire for 3 months now for her A Level French. Claire has been amazing and everything is super easy on the app to communicate and change lesson dates when needed. Claire established a good rapport with our daughter from the start. Our daughter provided further glowing feedback: she is ‘low key a normal person’ and ‘helping me improve so much... She’s the first tutor you found that I actually like’.

Sasha W
I would recommend Sasha to help with A Level French without hesitation. She helped my daughter primarily with her speaking and writing exams. Sasha is friendly and approachable, and built a rapport quickly with my daughter, making her feel comfortable and confident! With the speaking exam, Sasha always prepared thorough and insightful questions to practice a ‘mock’ exam, giving her confidence and improving her analytical skills in French. In regards to the writing, Sasha was able to effectively identify which areas needed improvement the most, with constructive feedback. As a result, my daughter achieved an A* and achieved nearly full marks in the writing paper, and we have no doubt that Sasha’s input very much contributed to this. She is a fabulous tutor, thank you Sasha!!!
