Becca has just started to tutor my son English. In just a couple of lessons he has learnt so much. Becca's style of teaching is engaging and she has a lot of knowledge and understanding of the subject. Would definitely recommend.

My son was struggling with English due to it's subjective nature and him being very logical in his approach to learning. He also had challenges with his school English teacher. He started with Lucy and something clicked for him. She was supportive and encouraging and explained things clearly. We've just got his GCSE results and he's done far better than we could have anticipated a year ago, he was sitting on a 3 and a 4 for Language and Literature respectively and his actual results were a 6 and a 7. We are very grateful for Lucy and can't recommend her enough.

Donna has been an outstanding tutor for my daughter. She guided her through A-level English Literature and English Language with so much patience and encouragement. Muneebah is an absolutely amazing tutor — she’s kind, she’s respectful and she’s incredible at explaining the difficulties of the English subjects. Before I started getting tutored by her, I was failing both Language and Literature, with a grade 2 and a grade 3. But — in only six weeks — with her help and encouragement, I passed both English subjects with flying colours in the form of a grade 6 and a grade 7. Without Muneebah’s kind and thoughtful method of teaching I might have not passed 2 whole GCSEs, and for that I believe she is one of the best and most effective tutors out there. I definitely recommend seeing her if you have difficulty analysing and writing texts, or if you want to improve your grades by as much as possible!

We contacted Holly after our son got a 1 in English in his mocks so we had less than a year to get him up to a pass. We had done some research and found that because he had a “maths” brain he needed to learn in a different way. Working with Harry has done wonders for my daughter. She managed to get her grades upto a Grade 8 in English Language, and Grade 7 for English Literature (three marks of an 8, so getting it reviewed/remarked and hoping for another 8). My daughter was expecting a 6, but with just 14 lessons, she pulled up her grades that much. I am forever grateful! Harry was great at replying to messages and how he connected with her. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed her lessons and said he is brilliant at explaining. This is coming from someone who refused to get tuition till the last two weeks of exams, so I am very grateful for finding Harry!
