Josh has been tutoring my son for several weeks now. When asking my son what he thought of the sessions she shared that the lessons were varied and he makes it interesting and fun, ( My Son is in year 10 - age 14) We were looking for a tutor to help my son with his English as he had a difficult year last year with his teacher and it became a dread and a stress. Having Josh tutoring him has given him more confidence in the subject. He is keen to have the lesson and always comes down afterwards and shares something good about it. He seems to be progressing well at school and I know these sessions can only be helping with that.

Lovely tutor, very helpful and concise with the additional support, as well as making sure I was confident on the topics we discussed. Very interactive and informative with making sure my thesis and essay writing structure was at a highest level it could be, gave me a really good insight into top band essay skills that I will be using from now on!!

My daughter worked with Grace as she wanted to re-take her English Language GCSE to improve her grade. My daughter thought Grace was a fantastic teacher. After her first lesson she said she had learnt more in an hour with her than she had in her previous two years at school! She has a lovely friendly manner and put my daughter at ease straight away. She also puts a lot into the lessons through preparation, marking and generally guiding the learning where it's needed most. As an examiner herself she also has a clear understanding of what students need to work on to succeed. Couldn't recommend her highly enough and whether or not my daughter does improve her grade, I know that the lessons were worthwhile. Thank you Grace!

John has been nothing short of a miracle worker with our Year 9 son. In a matter of a few lessons his confidence in English has really grown. He was previously really disengaged with English & it was a real effort to get him to spend any amount of time on it. Now with John’s encouragement, he actually shows me his English homework & wants to improve, work at it. Highly recommend

I would highly recommend Lee. He has supported my son in increasing his understanding of GCSE poetry, personalising each lesson to meet his needs and gives timely feedback after each lesson. My son is making great progress and I have seen increased confidence since he has started.

Anita really helps me with English - especially by going through the mark scheme in greater detail than in class, which is really useful when it comes to improving my essays. She also has helped with improving my analysis, providing me with stronger context and helping me add depth to it. I really recommend her as she is great!

Cerise has been such a lovely and supportive English tutor for Eisa. She really helped him find structure and confidence in his lessons and I could see the difference in how he approached his reading and writing. She always came well prepared with materials and gave clear guidance on what to work on..for example, getting him to read A Christmas Carol and pick out key quotes and themes to discuss together. Eisa really enjoyed her lessons and found her teaching style easy to follow. She’s been patient, encouraging and genuinely invested in his progress. We’ve really appreciated all her help!
