Megan has been absolutely wonderful. She has such a calm and encouraging manner and from the very beginning made my daughter feel comfortable and supported. She helped with both GCSE English Language and Literature and her feedback was always detailed and helpful. Megan was happy to look over homework between lessons and took the time to explain things properly, going over anything my daughter wasn’t sure about. The biggest difference we saw was in my daughter’s confidence. She went from worrying about English to feeling prepared going into all of her GCSE papers. After having just finished both my English literature and language GCSEs completely, I can confirm that Deborah has been a massive help in reaching the level that I am at now. Before I started tuition with her, I was at around a grade 5-6 level. However, after 2 years of hard work and resilience, Deborah helped me reach grade 9s in my mocks and (hopefully) in my real GCSEs too. Excellent English tutor. Friendly, professional and very knowledgeable about the WJEC English curriculum. Lessons were well organised, engaging and tailored to the areas that needed the most support. Helpful resources, past papers and exam techniques were provided, which helped build confidence and improve understanding in a short period of time. Communication was excellent throughout, and lesson times were arranged flexibly around a busy exam schedule. The support provided in the weeks leading up to GCSE exams was invaluable. I highly recommend my son’s English teacher, who has supported him through several years of online lessons in preparation for his GCSEs. Lindsey has been incredibly helpful and patient throughout, especially in the earlier stages, where she provided strong guidance and built his confidence. As he progressed, she gradually encouraged him to work more independently, which really helped develop his skills and self-belief. As we approached his GCSE exams, we requested an increase in lesson time from one hour to two hours per week. Despite her very busy schedule, she was flexible and made this possible for us, which we truly appreciated.
