Find An Expert English Language Tutor For Learners In Portsmouth

Ian is a brilliant English tutor. He took the time to understand my son's struggles and difficulties and quickly got a feel for where he needed support. He has been fantastic in helping him work through these challenges, improve his English and prepare for his exams. Ian gives a really helpful overview of each lesson, provides clear feedback and sets homework that is manageable and achievable. My son has additional needs, so finding someone who understands him and knows how to support him is really important to us. He genuinely enjoys his sessions with Ian, which says a lot, particularly as he has struggled with school and learning in the past. Ian is always punctual, reliable and well prepared. I really appreciate everything you're doing to support my son, Ian. Thank you for your patience, understanding and encouragement. It really does make a difference!

Great tutor helped me a lot.

Susan is a fantastic tutor. She was my guide through A level English Language and helped me understand and improve upon many of my weak points by providing professional and high quality presentations and exam questions tailored to my needs.

After getting a grade 4 in English language our son decided to resit the following year hoping to achieve grade 5. Charlotte was absolutely brilliant in helping him, she gave him angles and consideration's he wasn't aware of and constructive feedback on work undertaken. He has now achieved a grade 6. I am absolutely certain that the sessions he had with Charlotte you made the difference, and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking to improve their English grade. Thank you so much.

I started taking tutoring lessons about a month or two before my a level, as I wanted to be able to gain insight of how to achieve a better grade when I had initially been panicking English was not my strongest subject. Luckily, I was able to have my weekly lessons with Elandra, who patiently tutored me and catered towards my ability. Her experience with English as well as knowledge on what examiners are looking for allowed me to achieve a grade A in english language. I highly recommend these lessons to anyone who is feeling nervous or unsure with how to boost their marks.

I needed help as I was struggling with A Level English Language; I started working with Kate around 3 months before my exam and she helped me improve my exam practice exponentially. If you find yourself struggling with the subject choose Kate.

I am happy I found Iman. He is patient and caring. He explains the writings in a way that makes it much easier to understand. I find my son feels happy and satisfied in his class. I look forward to seeing him gets more and more confident and improve his marks in examinations. I honestly like to recommend Iman to all of you.

We have now had Lucy for 3 lessons in preparation for my son's GCSEs next year...Lucy is really kind and thorough, and is flexible to focus on my sons individual requirements, which was mainly around question preparation but also just his general confidence with English Language...I have already noticed a big improvement and I am extremely happy to continue with Lucy...
