I've had three lessons so far with Maurits. He's really helpful, and well prepared. He takes the time to understand your current level, as well as your objectives, and then tailors lessons to be personalised for you.
Each lesson has a recap of the previous lesson with a few tests to make sure you've remembered the main points. During the lesson, you work through the personalised plan, learning the grammar and vocabulary, with some useful practice sessions along the way.
My personal reason for getting a tutor was that I'd hit a brick wall with a language app (good for vocabulary, not so much for grammar). Maurits has been a huge help at helping me fill in the gaps, and understand the key parts of grammar I was struggling with (even though I still have a long way to go!).
Maurits is really helpful and friendly, and great at explaining things, and I'd thoroughly recommend him.
