I am a passionate educator fascinated by Science, Mathematics, and Engineering. For the past six years, I have been tutoring these subjects, driven by my greatest motivation: helping young people understand and enjoy them. Zak K
Experienced Chemistry Tutor & Student Doctor & Pharmacist
I am a Pharmacist turned medical student who has been tutoring Maths and Science since 2016. I chose these two subjects as I have a strong understanding of the core topics in both. This allows me to utilise different techniques when conveying the knowledge to my students. So if a student doesn't understand something the first time, Iapproach the topic again with an alternative strategy to ensure the student understands. One of my strengths as a tutor, besides my strong command of Maths and Science, is my patience. I understand that Maths and Science do not come as naturally to others as they do...
Dr Brian has helped my daughter so much with Chemistry A Level. In just a few months she has become a lot more confident in some of the hardest topics including Organics and Energy Changes. Dr Brian explained all the tricky concepts to my daughter and wasted no time doing lots of exam practice questions, slowly building up the difficulty. He is an excellent tutor and I can’t recommend him enough!

Edward has helped me a lot with understanding A level Chemistry more. Thanks to his guidance and patience I've had an easier time going through past papers and understanding concepts I didn't understand before. Not only that, but he has been a huge help with supporting me by providing a UCAS reference. Most definitely recommended, thank you.

Alice T
Alice has been fantastic at building our daughter’s confidence in A-level OCR Chemistry. She is patient, encouraging, and always willing to revisit topics until they're fully understood. Our daughter approaches Chemistry with much less anxiety and far more belief in her own ability now and we have seen a dramatic improvement in her examination results. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Alice.

Absolutely. Building confidence is a core part of what our tutors do. This often leads to a significant boost in self-esteem, which in turn positively impacts their academic performance.

While we excel at academic support for subjects like Chemistry, GCSEs, A-Levels, and even university degrees, Tutorful also offers a wide range of tutors for personal development and hobbies. Your child could learn a new language, pick up a musical instrument like the guitar, or even explore coding and Python – there's a tutor for almost any skill they'd like to develop!
How do I track my child's progress with their Chemistry tutor?
After each lesson, your tutor will provide feedback on what was covered, your child's progress, and any areas to focus on. You're also encouraged to communicate directly with your tutor through the platform, allowing you to stay fully informed and discuss your child's Chemistry journey.
