William is a great 11+ tutor for our son. Within a short period of time he was able to recognise his strengths and encourage him and us. He was also able to quickly identify areas for improvement and strategically challenge him so that he feels motivated and not overwhelmed. He has a good rapport with him such that he feels comfortable asking questions and speaking up if he doesn’t understand something. Overall this has helped to improve his learning experience. He introduced us to a great online tool, which he uses during the lesson to provide structure and focus. He also uses it to set weekly tasks, which has been useful for us to monitor his progress. After each lesson we get helpful feedback on how well he did and what he needs to work on, which has really helped us engage more with his learning. Iworked with Mei to wake up some very old rusty Japanese ahead of a business trip.
