Rebecca has been an excellent English tutor to our 9 year old during a very difficult time when he needed to be homeschooled. She catered her lessons around subjects our little one found interesting and enjoyed, and she managed to keep him much more engaged with his schoolwork than we were able to do on our own. Rebecca provided very detailed and helpful verbal and written feedback after lessons and helped us identify his strengths and weaknesses so that we knew what to focus on. We have seen improvement with his writing ability and spellings, and it has been great to see him more engaged with a subject he doesn't like very much! We could not be happier with the tuition that Lyn has provided for our daughter. Our daughter had been predicted a five in GCSE chemistry. With Lyn's help, she progressed to being predicted an eight. Lyn explained the work very clearly. Our daughter says that she was extremely patient. In fact, chemistry went from being one of our daughter's least favourite subjects to one of her most favourite. She's now planning on taking it for A level. She went into her chemistry exam feeling well prepared and confident. As parents that was really our priority in terms of what we were hoping for from the tuition. We really could not recommend Lynn more highly as a tutor.
