We originally hired him to help with my son's chemistry but ended up asking for his help with maths as well.
My son had huge gaps in his knowledge and we were very last minute (pre GCSE) in seeking help.
Max gained an excellent rapport with my son and taught him brilliantly. I am not confident that his GCSE result will reflect his ability and not a lack of teaching.

John stepped in at short notice to support our son with English Language GCSE resit. It was his third attempt and his confidence was low, with no enthusiasm for revising. John’s calm and encouraging approach was so effective,our son was actually looking forward to his tutor sessions and was voluntarily doing is own revision to send to John for review between sessions. Whilst we wait for the results we are happy to say that John enabled our son to approach the exams with a positive mindset and with many strategies to tackle the paper.
