James has been supporting my son with his A-level maths studies. My son has dyslexia and was losing confidence. James tutored him through his final A level year, building his skills and confidence and he has successfully achieved the grades he needed to study for an MEng at university. I can’t thank Jes enough for the skills, encouragement and confidence he gave him. It made all the difference. I wish I had had similar when I was at school. He really appreciated James’ calm and methodical approach and the opportunity to work through questions and concepts at a better pace for him. He enjoyed the sessions from the very beginning. He was really comfortable communicating with James during the sessions which shows James’ approachable manner. James’ sessions are bespoke and the work he puts into preparing them is obvious. This really works well for my son as it caters for his dyslexia. From my point of view, James is an excellent communicator and I’ felt very confident in his approach to the subject and to my son. I highly recommend James as a tutor - our experience has been entirely positive, and could not have been better

This review is long overdue, as my son began working with Harvey in 2020! We cannot fully express how incredible Harvey has been and my son credits him for his success. He is not only highly knowledgeable but also excels at guiding students to develop independent thinking; encouraging them to answer their own questions. Harvey is kind, patient, and builds a strong rapport, which boosted my son's confidence and ability to tackle high-mark, extended exam questions. Although my son always enjoyed Biology, he initially found the longer exam responses challenging. Weekly sessions with Harvey transformed this, and he went on to achieve top grades in both GCSE Biology and Chemistry. These outstanding results gave him the confidence to pursue Higher Level Biology and Chemistry in the International Baccalaureate. Harvey continued with my son throughout the challenging IB years. Harvey tailors his approach to each student’s needs and listens carefully to support them effectively. We are not saying goodbye as we have another son now entering his GCSE years.

Polly is an excellent Tutor. She makes the lessons really fun and engaging and her techniques mean that the learning really sticks and progression is quick. My Son always looks forward to his next session in preparation for the Grammar entry exam. To quote my Son, she’s ’awesome and makes children want to learn’!
