Jonathan is an excellent guitar tutor. I started with Jonathan as a complete beginner and I feel that I am progressing with each session. Each session Jonathan goes through, theory, answers questions and reviews what I have been practicing over the previous week. At the end of each session Jonathan documents what I need to work on over the next week. He offers encouragement and always has multiple hints, tips and advice to improve my guitar playing. Jonathan is very patient and has a passion for guitar playing. I would highly recommend him as a tutor, whether you are a beginner or more advanced.

We’ve had such a great experience with Destiny this past year. She’s been absolutely fantastic in helping our daughter with her science subjects—Chemistry, Biology, and Physics—especially with her exam prep. From the start, Destiny connected so well with her and really helped boost her confidence. I have just completed over a year of tutoring with Matt in physics, covering the PAT, ESAT, interview prep, A-level, and even some university content. He is an incredible tutor and seems to know not only the answers to every question you throw at him (and I had a lot, on a very wide range of topics), but also how to break those answers down in a digestible manner. He challenges you to actively solve problems, but doesn't make you feel silly when you get things wrong, which adds to the incredibly productive atmosphere for learning. Over the year, he helped me gain a new understanding and appreciation of physics, which was reflected in my test results at school and my university offers (for physics). I feel very lucky that I was able to have these lessons for such a long time, and I cannot recommend him enough.

Marceli has been really helpful to me in the way he approaches his lessons. He makes topics very easy to understand and was extremely patient with me when I was getting it wrong. One aspect I really enjoy is he continued to put me in the deep end to try difficult questions without his help to develop my thinking skills.

Max was incredibly helpful with A-Level Physics. His lessons were highly engaging and beneficial, and I felt much more comfortable with the course afterward. The tutoring sessions concisely tackled the more challenging topics, with a strong focus on building a solid understanding of the underlying fundamentals.

Ashton has been a brilliant psychology tutor for my son during his A-Levels. She’s really friendly and approachable, which made it easy for him to feel comfortable and engaged in their sessions. He said she had a great way of explaining things and really understood how he learned best. She used mind maps to introduce each new topic, then worked through them to find where he needed more support. From there, she gave clear examples, asked questions, and helped him properly get to grips with the material. That teaching style really worked for him. She was always well prepared for lessons and set useful work between sessions, which she then marked — something he found really helpful for staying on track. She was also very flexible, with good availability, which made scheduling lessons easy and helped take the pressure off during busy times. When he started, he wasn’t sure he’d even pass the subject — now he feels confident he’ll get a good grade. That shift is hugely down to Ashton’s support and approach. Overall, it’s been a really positive experience. Ashton’s made a big difference to his confidence and understanding of the subject. We’d highly recommend her.
