Elizabeth is a brilliant tutor and I couldn’t recommend her enough. She helped my daughter who due to sickness was unable to attend school. After a few months of weekly lessons with Elizabeth from the point when my daughter was behind she managed to pick everything up and ended up with predicted A* for her RS A levels. Anne has been fantastic with Ella. She is patient, listens carefully and explains things in a way that builds Ella’s confidence while still directing the lesson extremely well. From the outset, Anne took the time to understand what Ella had already covered, where her knowledge was secure and where there might be gaps or retention issues. Her lessons are clearly tailored to Ella rather than following a generic programme, and the written feedback after each session is detailed, honest and genuinely useful. We always know what was covered, how Ella managed and what she should practise next. Anne has also been very generous with her time, with both lessons running beyond the scheduled hour, and she has offered to mark and provide feedback on any additional work Ella completes between sessions. Most importantly, Ella enjoys working with her and responds extremely well to her calm, encouraging approach. We feel very fortunate to have found Anne and would recommend her without hesitation.
