I can't begin to express how exceptional Liam is as a tutor. I had always assumed myself to not be naturally 'gifted' in Mathematics and hence couldn't succeed, happening to stumble upon this tutor and hoping that his credentials would meet the mark. Liam exceeded our expectations in every way: he was full of intuitive explanations, relentless support, consistent attention for areas of confusion, meticulous session planning and most importantly – a highly warm and patient approach which is unmistakable regardless the time of day, despite his understandably tight schedule. Given this, after only a matter of months, he had dispelled any doubts completely (I felt – and so did teachers – that I had a ‘talent’, even if this was learnt) and managed to kindle a passion for the subject that made every experience of Maths feel a calm and intriguing experience – both within sessions and in the classroom. I even felt inspired to pursue a career in Physics, illustrating how deep this new confidence was embedded! I must admit that I’ve never met a teacher in this subject who is so passionate about his work and committed to helping their students: even going lengths, when I was interested, to clarify concepts beyond the standard syllabus at a GCSE level to share this passion with a new generation. In the end, I achieved a Grade 8 in Mathematics (HT, Edexcel) – just missing the mark off the 9 – and the familiarisation I felt with exam questions during my sessions with Liam helped every step of the way. A truly irreplaceable tutor that I would recommend for anybody feeling ‘in the dumps’ about their understanding or wants to polish their skills further – Liam’s professionalism and experience cater to all learner types!

My son needed some support with physics GCSEs. Nia is really good at communicating to young people and breaking down difficult concepts to make them easy to understand. Nia helped my son's overall understanding and confidence. Physics went from being his weakest science subject to his best in a couple of months with her help. I would have no hesitation in recommending Nia!
